Here's how to make sure my emails arrive in your Primary Inbox:


Best Way for GMAIL:  Set up a "filter" and "allow" emails from walt@waltgoodridge.com and walt@passionpreneur.com and check "always send to primary inbox"

STEPS:

1. click vertical dots to show options
2. click "filter messages like this"
3. click "create filter"
4. check "Never send it to spam"
5. check "Categorize as"  → Primary
6. click "CREATE FILTER"
That's it! 


FOR YAHOO 

  1. Click the Settings icon. | select More Settings.
  2. Click Filters.
  3. Click Add new filters.
  4. Enter the filter name, set the filter rules, and choose or create a folder for the emails.
  5. Click Save.


OTHER METHODS:


 mark incoming email as not spam in your Gmail or Yahoo account.


For Gmail: To mark as "Not Spam"

1. Go to mail.google.com on a Mac or PC and log into your account, if necessary.

2. Open the email you want to move to your primary inbox.


3. Select "Report not spam" at the top.


Another option


For Gmail: To mark as "Not Promotion"


1. Find the email in your Promotions folder
 
2. click on label tag

3. uncheck "promotions" box

4. click the "apply" button. The email will move to your primary inbox.



For Yahoo: To mark as "Not Spam"

1. Click the Spam folder. 
(If you don't see the "Spam" folder, click More below the "Sent" folder.)

2. Select the email.

3. Click "Not Spam" at the top of the page.

4. The email will move to your Inbox.

Please note: You may need to do this for several subsequent incoming emails in order to "train" your account to recognize future emails from the sender as "not spam."
